Plot Summary

The story picks up eight years after Scott Calvin took on the mantle of Santa Claus. However, his joyous routine is disrupted when he learns about the “Mrs. Clause”—a previously unknown requirement in the Santa contract that mandates he must find a wife by Christmas Eve or lose his Santa powers.

At the same time, Scott discovers that his teenage son, Charlie, is on the “naughty list” due to behavioral issues at school. Determined to save both Christmas and his family, Scott returns to his hometown to reconnect with Charlie and search for a potential Mrs. Claus. While back on Earth, he meets Carol Newman (Elizabeth Mitchell), Charlie’s stern but caring school principal, and their unlikely romance begins to blossom.
