Plot Summary
The McCallister family is back, and so is Kevin McCallister’s knack for getting into mischief! In Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, the chaos begins when Kevin accidentally boards the wrong flight during a family vacation and ends up in New York City—alone.
Kevin’s New Adventure
With his father’s credit card in hand, Kevin revels in the magic of New York, staying at the luxurious Plaza Hotel, visiting iconic landmarks, and indulging in all the city has to offer. But his joy takes a turn when he encounters Harry and Marv, the hapless burglars from the first movie. Fresh out of prison, the duo is plotting to rob Duncan’s Toy Chest, a beloved toy store, on Christmas Eve.
Kevin’s Ingenious Defense
Determined to stop them, Kevin devises another round of clever, slapstick traps—this time in an abandoned townhouse undergoing renovation. Using his wits and resourcefulness, Kevin leads Harry and Marv into one painful (and hilarious) trap after another, proving once again that he’s more than a match for the bumbling crooks.
