Backcountry is a Canadian survival horror thriller film directed Adam MacDonald. It was released in 2014 and is inspired by true events. The story follows Alex (played by Jeff Roop) and Jenn (played by Missy Peregrym), a couple from the city who decide to take a camping trip in the Canadian backcountry.
