Poldark (2015-2019) is a British historical drama series based on the Poldark novels by Winston Graham. Set in the late 18th century in Cornwall, England, the series follows the life of Ross Poldark (played Aidan Turner), a soldier who returns to his home after fighting in the American Revolutionary War.
