Story Snapshot

In the icy wilderness of the Arctic, Patrick Sumner, a disgraced ex-army surgeon, joins a whaling expedition on a ship called the Hvaldyr. Far from civilization, Sumner is drawn into a brutal world where danger lurks both at sea and within the ship’s crew.
