Story Concept

After bringing law and order to Dirt, Rango is now the town’s official sheriff and beloved legend. But when a mysterious sandstorm reveals the ruins of a lost frontier city, Rango is pulled into a new journey beyond the edge of the known desert: the Dustlands — a mythic no-creature’s land haunted by forgotten outlaws, ancient curses, and a shadowy new villain known only as “The Vulture King.”

Joined by his loyal companion Beans, a wisecracking armadillo oracle, and a rebellious young roadrunner named Whip, Rango must once again become the hero no one saw coming. This time, the stakes are bigger, the bullets are faster, and the legend… is far from over.

Key Themes

Myth vs. reality – Rango must reckon with being a “living legend” while discovering what really makes a hero.
