Instead of another group of lost hikers getting picked off by cannibals, Last Resort brings us into the story of Danny, a young man who inherits a mysterious old spa resort deep in the Appalachian wilderness. Along with a group of friends, Danny heads into the mountains for what’s supposed to be a relaxing escape — only to uncover terrifying secrets about his family and their twisted legacy.

Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort attempts to revitalize the franchise with a new direction but falls short due to its weak plot, overreliance on shock value, and lack of character development. While it may appeal to die-hard fans of the series or those seeking a gore-filled horror experience, it is generally considered a low point in the Wrong Turn saga.
