Plot Summary

After the uneasy peace established in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Arthur Curry now rules Atlantis—but shadows stir beneath the deep.

A dormant ancient species known as The Trench, believed to be defeated, begins a violent uprising. But these aren’t the mindless creatures he once fought—these are evolved, intelligent warlords from the darkest depths of the ocean, led by the monstrous Queen Syll’na, risen from centuries of slumber.

Meanwhile, Black Manta, resurrected and now fused with Atlantean-tech symbiotes, returns with a vengeance—and a dangerous alliance with the Trench Queen.

To save the surface and the sea, Aquaman must forge new alliances with forgotten kingdoms and awaken a forgotten titanic sea deity, even if it costs him the throne.
