Plot Summary

When fearless test pilot Hal Jordan (played by Ryan Reynolds) discovers a crashed alien spacecraft, he is chosen by a dying member of the Green Lantern Corps to wield a powerful ring—one that grants him access to unimaginable abilities and the responsibility to protect the universe.

As the first human ever inducted into the intergalactic peacekeeping force, Hal must overcome his self-doubt, learn to master the ring’s energy, and face off against the monstrous cosmic entity Parallax, who threatens to destroy Earth and the entire Green Lantern Corps.

Guided by veteran Lanterns like Sinestro, Tomar-Re, and Kilowog, Hal must prove that even a human has what it takes to shine against the universe’s darkest fear.
