Plot Summary

Li Fong, a teenage martial artist from Beijing, is sent to the U.S. to study under the legendary Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), now a reclusive teacher running a quiet dojo in San Francisco. Still haunted by the past, Mr. Han is reluctant to train again—until he sees in Li the same fire and discipline he once nurtured in Dre Parker.

When Li becomes the target of a brutal underground karate league known as The Iron Fist Clan, he’s forced into a violent circuit where honor, not rules, decides the outcome. With Mr. Han’s reluctant guidance, Li must find balance between strength and serenity, and learn that true power lies not in the punch—but in the purpose behind it.
