The Belly of The Beast | Tremors: A Cold Day In Hell
The Tremors franchise returns with A Cold Day in Hell (2018), sending fan-favorite characters into the heart of a frigid wilderness, where the threat of Graboids, Ass-Blasters, and new mutated creatures is colder and more dangerous than ever before. This thrilling, action-packed entry combines the signature blend of humor, tension, and creature carnage that fans of the series have come to love.
The trailer opens with sweeping shots of an icy, desolate landscape, the camera capturing snow-covered mountains and frozen plains. “Something big is coming. And this time, it’s colder than hell itself.” A voiceover sets the tone of the new adventure, as we hear a familiar voice โ Burt Gummer (played by Michael Gross), the seasoned and now slightly older survivalist, who has faced Graboids, Ass-Blasters, and more. He warns the viewer, “When the ground starts to shake, it’s already too late.”
Cut to Burt and his trusted partner Travis B. Welker (played by Jamie Kennedy), both in the midst of an intense firefight with an unseen enemy. The camera cuts between bursts of snow and thick, foggy air, as the sound of deep, rumbling tremors grows louder and closer.
Suddenly, the icy landscape shakes beneath their feet. They quickly realize that this is not just an ordinary encounter with Graboids โ something far worse is lurking beneath the frozen ground. The duo stumbles upon an underground base, and inside, they uncover a terrifying secret: the Graboids have evolved.
The trailer shows quick shots of monstrous, mutated creatures, much bigger and more deadly than the ones seen before. These new beasts appear to be more aggressive, and the icy cold is no match for their hunger. Burt and Travis, now facing a more cunning breed of predators, must figure out how to survive before they are buried by snow and consumed by the beasts beneath the ice.
