Thunderbolts (2024)
Thunderbolts (2024) brings together a team of antiheroes and former villains, united by a common cause, to face threats too big for any individual hero to handle. This exciting new chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will showcase some of the most complex characters, exploring themes of redemption, loyalty, and what it means to be a hero.
Plot Summary:
The government has formed a team of reformed villains, the Thunderbolts, to take on dangerous missions that require a level of ruthlessness beyond what traditional superheroes can handle. Led by John Walker (U.S. Agent) and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the team consists of various antiheroes, including Yelena Belova (Black Widow), Taskmaster, Ghost, and Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier).
Their mission is to take down rogue threats—some from their own pasts—but as they grow closer, they begin to question whether they are truly fighting for the greater good or simply being used as pawns in a dangerous game. The lines between right and wrong blur as they are pushed to their limits, facing both external and internal conflicts.
