Prey 2 introduced a uniquely terrifying scenario by combining natural disasters with predatory wildlife. The setting of Crawl 2 is expected to follow suit, expanding on the flooded Florida environment where the first film took place. In the first film, we watched as a young woman, Haley Keller (played by Kaya Scodelario), fought to survive after being trapped in her family home during a hurricane, only to find herself face-to-face with hungry alligators. Crawl 2 could follow a similar vein, either continuing Haley’s story as she faces new challenges in the aftermath of the storm or introducing a new group of characters forced into similar survival situations in other parts of the affected region.
