Paramount Pictures has officially announced the release of “Top Gun 3,” slated for 2024. The film will see the return of iconic star Tom Cruise, reprising his role as Lieutenant Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. He and his radar intercept officer, Lieutenant (junior grade) Nick “Goose” Bradshaw (Edwards), were given the chance to train at the US Navy’s Fighter Weapons School at Naval Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California.
