Troll (2022)

Deep in the heart of the Norwegian mountains, something gigantic stirs beneath the rocks. After lying dormant for a thousand years, a massive creature—once thought to be mere folklore—awakens, unleashing destruction in its path. As the government scrambles to contain the growing disaster, paleontologist Nora Tidemann (Ine Marie Wilmann) is called in to decipher the truth behind the ancient legend.

As the towering troll marches toward civilization, leaving devastation in its wake, Nora teams up with a ragtag group of scientists, military forces, and folklore experts to find a way to stop the unstoppable. But as they dig deeper, they realize that the creature may not be the monster they first believed—and that the real danger may be mankind’s response to it.

Directed by Roar Uthaug (Tomb Raider, The Wave), Troll is a thrilling Nordic monster movie that blends breathtaking CGI, heart-pounding action, and rich mythology. With stunning cinematography showcasing Norway’s rugged landscapes and an emotional core rooted in ancient folklore, Troll delivers a fresh and exhilarating take on the creature feature genre.
