Plot Summary

Peace has returned to Atlantis, but the ocean is never calm for long. As King Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) balances ruling the seven seas and raising his child, an ancient threat awakens from the Trench Abyss—Vortigon, the Oceanborn Leviathan, a primordial being who once ruled before Atlantis ever rose.

Vortigon seeks to unite the dark kingdoms below the sea—The Trench, Necraria, Abyssos—to wipe out surface dwellers and claim the oceans as a new empire of terror.

To stop him, Aquaman must forge an uneasy alliance with old enemies—including Orm and Black Manta—and unlock the power of the Crown of Poseidon, a relic that grants dominion over the ocean’s will itself.

But wielding it may cost Arthur his humanity… and everything he loves.
